Terms of Service

Last updated: November 6, 2026

These terms cover the Mediator SEO subscription. "You" means the business that signs up.

1. What you get

Mediator SEO is a subscription for home service companies. It includes a website of up to 15 pages, Google Business Profile management, local SEO work, review replies, hosting and a report every two weeks, as described on our Pricing page on the day you sign up. We may improve the service over time; we won't reduce what's listed on the Pricing page for your subscription without telling you first.

Not included: ads, photo or video shoots, logo and branding, online stores, an admin panel while you're subscribed, a second language, or more than 15 pages at launch. We can quote those separately.

2. Sign-up and launch

When you sign up, you save a card or US bank account through Stripe. Nothing is charged at sign-up.

Your site goes live within 7 days after we receive everything listed in the onboarding form (services, service areas, photos, logo if you have one, manager access to your Google Business Profile, domain access if you have a domain, and the facts you want published about your business). If we don't receive these within 30 days of sign-up, we close your sign-up without charging you.

3. Billing

  • Your subscription starts on the day your site goes live ("launch day"). We charge $195 on launch day and every 14 days after that, automatically, to the payment method you saved, until you cancel.
  • By signing up you authorize these recurring charges. For bank accounts, you also accept Stripe's ACH debit mandate shown at sign-up.
  • Your bank statement shows MEDIATOR WEB SEO.
  • We send your two-week report one to two days before each charge.
  • Prices: your price doesn't change while your subscription stays active. If we change prices, the new price applies to new subscriptions.

4. Failed payments

If a charge fails, we'll notify you by email and text with a link to update your payment method, and Stripe will retry the charge. If the balance is still unpaid 7 days after the failed charge, we pause the work (your site stays online). If it's still unpaid after 21 days, the subscription is cancelled and section 6 applies. Paying the balance before then resumes the work.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from your account (the billing portal linked on our site) or by asking us in writing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current two-week period you've already paid for. We don't refund partial periods. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.

6. When you leave: your site

When your subscription ends, you choose one:

  1. Website-only — $49 a month. We keep your site online on our platform (hosting, SSL, monitoring). No SEO, Google Business Profile or review work. Billed monthly until you cancel.
  2. Export. We install an admin panel and move the domain, the site's code and hosting to you within 7 days of your request. This is free after 13 paid billing cycles and costs $195 before that.

If you choose neither within 30 days of the end of your subscription, we may take the site offline. Your domain stays in your name in every case.

7. What you own

  • Your business name, logo, photos, texts you provide and your Google Business Profile are yours.
  • Your domain is registered in your name.
  • Pages and content we write for your site become yours once paid for. The code and the platform that run the site during your subscription remain ours until you choose Export (section 6), when the code for your site is transferred to you.
  • You give us permission to use your materials to provide the service. We won't use your name, logo or results in our own marketing without your written permission.

8. Accuracy and your responsibilities

  • You confirm that the facts you give us (licenses, insurance, years in business, services, areas) are true. We publish only facts you've confirmed.
  • You give us the access we need (Google Business Profile manager access, domain/DNS access) and keep it in place while subscribed.
  • You're responsible for your business, your work and your compliance with laws that apply to it (for example, licensing in your trade).
  • Replies to 1–3 star reviews are published only after your approval. You're responsible for approving or editing them.
  • Review requests follow Google's policies: we don't buy reviews, write fake ones, or ask only satisfied customers.

9. No guarantee of results

We commit to doing the work described in section 1, on schedule. We don't guarantee rankings, positions on Google Maps, calls, leads, booked jobs or revenue, because these depend on Google, your competitors, your reviews and your business. The service is provided "as is" except for the commitments stated in these terms.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, lost profits), or for actions by third parties such as Google, Stripe, hosting providers or directories.

11. Ending the service on our side

We may stop working with you, with notice, if you ask us to publish false or illegal content, abuse our team, or repeatedly don't pay. If we end the service without cause, we refund the unused part of the current period and section 6 still applies.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before changes that affect your price or what's included. Continuing the subscription after that means you accept the change.
